Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for visiting this page.  As of last week I was told some awful news - that my best friend Lucky has adenocarcinoma in his stomach.  I can't even describe the feeling of those words - let alone the dismal survival rate of dogs' with this type of cancer.  The odds are not in his favor, and the Vets up here in Alaska did everything and are doing what they can, but from their level of expertise they cannot do anymore.  After days of searching for help across the U.S. I found one doctor who may be able to help Lucky - he is located just outside of San Diego - I have booked my flight for Jan 9th/2012.  Lucky does not have medical insurance and the bills are very high. Lucky means the world to me, much like a child.  He has been through thick and thin with me, and as long as he is fighting I have to try.  I may get there and they can't do anything, but Dr. Ogilvie has better equipment, more experience with dogs who have cancer.  He is Lucky's only hope.  He may be able to perform surgery if it has not spread too far.

If you wish to donate to help with this cause, I can return the favor by performing a show for you, you and your friends, your work, house concert, corporate event, wedding, anything really.  Cd's too.  I am not putting a price on this, donate what you can, every bit helps.  Once I get back I will be more than happy to discuss some kind of collateral for your generous donation.
