Diana Z
Diana Z is a Singer/ Songwriter currently living in Alaska working on a new album.

Diana has been singing since she was about 5 years old. Her first memory of wanting to be a musician is from seeing ABBA’s Waterloo video; she was instantly mesmerized. From that moment on she decided she wanted nothing more than to sing.

Diana has been writing her own songs for the last 12 years and is self-taught. In 2002 she took a road trip by herself to the Southeastern US armed with only her guitar. Diana sang her heart out from ‘The Attic’ in Chattanooga to the ‘Hall of Fame’ in Nashville. During this trip she began to write even more songs, many of which are on her first CD release “All I Want.”

From this trip onward she progressed and continues to play at various venues in and around Toronto such as The Cameron House, C’est What, Graffiti’s, and Slack’s.

Her cd release party was very successful…she performed for just under 300 people at Jeff Healey’s Roadhouse on Oct 26th with her 7-piece band. She has driven from Toronto to Alaska 3 times now (6 both ways!), with some airplay on CBC Voyage North, CBC Saskatoon and CBC Yukon. She has played all across Canada, and is currently playing gigs in Alaska and the lower 48.

“Diana Z is not just another pretty face. The girl can sing. Her new CD "All I Want" would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. I especially like "Coffee Song." Jerry Foster DJ @ CKWE 105.9 fm
